Board Meeting update – 6/15/2020

Dear Whitehall residents,

We met yesterday for a packed evening of agenda items. Here is some news you can use from your HOA board! 

  1.  Annual meeting in September. We are waiting on guidance from Wake County and the Governor’s office on whether or not it’s prudent to have an in-person annual meeting.  Currently, the most likely option is for us to do it remotely via Zoom.  If you are not familiar with how to use Zoom, go to https://zoom.us/ to download the app for your computer. We will have a more definite plan after July’s meeting.
  2. Coupon books and roof assessments.  Only three more months left of the monthly roof assessment! If you chose to pay $166.67/mo, you’ll notice this was left out of the latest coupon book.  Replacement coupons are in process, but if you don’t get them in time for July, just send an extra $166.67 with your regular payment.
  3. Tommy Gattis “retirement”.  After 9 years as the unofficial Mayor of Whitehall, Tommy has decided to step down from official board member duties. (We’ll miss you Tommy!) These are some big shoes to fill, so if you are interested in serving as a board member, contact Gloria to get on the September ballot.
  4. Getting things fixed.  A reminder on how to get repairs, report trees down, and get approval for home improvement projects (now that we can’t just ask Tommy…):

Repairs to your unit: email the attached Maintenance Service Request form to gnelson@sentrymgmt.com

Repairs to common area items (broken address poles, trees down, etc): email or call Gloria, gnelson@sentrymgmt.com , 919-790-8000 x52508.

Home improvement: email the attached Architectural Request form (ARC) to gnelson@sentrymgmt.com
