Community Events
Whitehall holds several events annually that afford residents with the opportunity to gather, celebrate, and get to know each other better. The events, organized by Committees, provide a chance for homeowners to contribute their gifts and abilities.
Whitehall annual events include:
Fall & Spring Property Clean-up
Volunteer residents don gloves, rakes, shovels, and clippers to make for new growth that a new season brings. The property sprucing is over and above the work our landscapers do and is our way of beautifying the property and giving it a fresh look.
Memorial Day & July 4th Barbecue
To welcome spring and summer, as well as to honor those who fought for our freedom, Memorial Day and July 4th provide us with a chance to fire up the grill and share food, drink, and the good company of neighbors.
Holiday Decorating & Tree Lighting
As the cooler weather and holidays near, residents string lights and hang garland and bows to transform Whitehall into a festive wonderland. The decorating culminates as residents gather for warm beverages and sweets with the lighting of the Christmas tree.
Art & Music in the Park
On occasion, Whitehall’s Community Garden Park hosts Art & Music in the Garden Park to support local artists and musicians, including some Whitehall residents. Artisan work is available for purchase, with a portion of the proceeds donated to support the Community Garden Park. There is live music (harpist and bluegrass), as well as a hot dog lunch, offered as a fundraiser.
